Have you ever prayed and believed for something? What was the outcome? Have you always received exactly what you prayed for? What do you do when what God gives you is not enough?

It could be that you prayed to pay off your college tuition but God provided only one semester’s fees. Or perhaps you prayed for a car but instead of someone giving you one, they only lent it to you. When we pray in faith and expect miracles, it can be disheartening when we don’t receive exactly what we prayed for.

It could feel like you are living with a half-miracle. It’s a miracle because God came through for you, but what He gave you feels like not quite enough.

What do you do when what God gives you is not enough?

Keep believing

Don’t allow a half-miracle to discourage you. The Bible says that we walk by faith and not by sight. If we could see the outcome, that wouldn’t be faith. Keep believing that God is good and that you will see His promises come to pass in your life.

Trust in God’s ability

We must trust in God’s ability to provide for us. We must trust that He will give us what we need, when we need it. We must keep trusting that God knows what is best for us. There is nothing He cannot do so we must trust in His plan for our lives.

Keep Believing

Even if you are sitting with a half-miracle, keep believing that what you are praying for will come to pass. Keep believing that God will grant you the desires of your heart. Keep believing that at the right time, God will do immeasurably more than you can ask, think or imagine.

If you are feeling discouraged, you need a faith burst to keep you going. I often get a faith burst from reading Scriptures about God’s faithfulness, spending time worshipping God and attending church.

God is good and He does good. You will see His promises come to pass in your life, even if you are sitting with half a miracle.
