There is nothing worse than the feeling of discouragement brought on by severe emasculation or belittlement. Most of us are sensitive and are generally influenced by other people’s opinions and thoughts about us. We allow the negative words and taunts to bring us down and force us into a false sense of security – security in the solace that I can’t achieve terribly much and must just remain satisfied with what little I have.
I am all for being thankful and grateful for everything I have, even if it is just a small amount. But when my potential is being stifled and I’m forced into a box just so that I can suit your needs and desires, that’s when I have a problem, I won’t remain quiet about such things!
Fear has the power to cripple us and cause us to withdraw completely. It strangles the creative life out of us and we become zombies, just going wherever we should and we eventually become afraid of our own imagination and potential creativity.
Faith, however, has the power to strengthen us and propel us to our destiny! It reminds us that we are actually valuable, we are unique and we do matter! I am convinced that every single human being on this planet has unique abilities and talents, and we can achieve far more than we think!
