Every so often, we all get tired of the fast life and need to take a moment to relax and take in something soothing for the soul. That may mean different things to different people but, generally, most people agree that music is definitely one thing that can calm the weary traveler. As the year starts to wind down, perhaps you’re starting to draw up a list of things to do, places to go and people to visit.
Well, if you happen to be in Cape Town this month and you’re a fan of soulful music for the heart, look no further than the Cape Town Victory Gospel Music Awards – referred to more deliciously as A Blue Carpet Event – happening on the 28th November 2014. Billed to perform at the award show are top notch artists across the musical genres, among them Neville D (we’ve featured him here on 1Africa) and Sandile Cele of Joyous Celebration fame.
