1Africa Radio is a Christian radio station that broadcasts live via shortwave, satellite and FM/community radio stations over the continent of Africa. It's mission is to uplift, educate and encourage African youth by focusing on the positive, speaking about integrity and broadcasting a message of hope across borders in a relaxed, fun and relevant way. 1Africa strives to produce a wide selection of high quality radio programmes, from sport shows to magazine shows, international news to celebrity interviews, contemporary playlists to DJ mixing sessions.

Any or all of these programmes are offered to community/FM radio stations anywhere in Africa - FOR FREE for affiliates.

An Affiliate is a partner radio station who through a contracted relationship, will receive selected broadcast content for rebroadcasting live or as pre-record on their local broadcast. For more info on this, click here to see our ‘affiliate’ page.

CVC Media is the parent company of 1Africa and is a public benefit organization (PBO) based in Cape Town, South Africa.
It forms part of an international media ministry, Christian Vision, with radio stations broadcasting to other parts of the world.

As a PBO, CVC Media strives to sow back by offering content that is educational and empowering, by offering free downloadable public awareness material, and most importantly through internships, radio training and workshops.

CVC Training (a division of CVC Media) offers free training and short courses in radio broadcasting. Training covers a broad spectrum of good radio practices and technique, all aimed at empowering and educating presenters, producers and management. CVC Training is all about learning to communicate more effectively, addressing skills and ultimately improve the standard of Christian radio across Africa.
